A robotic hand is only part of the challenge.
Connecting hands-on mechanism work with the people and interfaces a robotics team needs.

The thing on the desk
This is a robotic hand I made. I like this photo because it shows the whole setup: the hand, the mechanism underneath, the wiring, and the computer beside it. There is much more to a working physical system than its outer shape.
The work around the build
My WE BOTS work also includes turning engineering conversations into clearer requests for technical mentorship. A useful review starts with a specific problem: grasping, actuation, power, perception, or an interface between teams.
My part in a team effort
The hand and the partnerships work are parts of my contribution. The broader robot belongs to the team. I’m interested in both sides of that process: making a mechanism tangible and finding the right expertise to improve the next iteration.
